"It's easier said than done", you may say. I agree with you.
However, we can actually calm our mind whatever happens in our life. The togher the situation, the harder it gets though.
Our resistance to what is is based on our own premise, expectation, judgement, hope, model. If we notice it, we can change these things when needed. Then, we can calm our mind.
We cannot calm a storm. But we can calm our mind. Then, all pass at some point.
