What make people greater are adversities, challenges, setbacks. However we don't like to have them at all. Because they are very painful most of the time.
If you do have one of them, you are entitled to celebrate it. Obviously it's very hard to do so. However, many people say later that they helped them to be better as a human being.
I agree with the idea through my own experiences of several setbacks. It is tough to go through challenges for sure. But those challenges make you stronger and greater. And there is nothing else that has the same effect.
Instead of judging good or bad, it seems wiser to accept as they are. Our job is not judging things. It is like a card game. The cards you get doesn't really matter at the end. What matters is your attitude toward the cards you get. No judging the cards. Create meaning out of them by your action. That's what matters to you.
