One of the personal development programs I bought taught me the importance and necessity of goal setting. It made sense to me. Because if I don't know the direction of my life, I won't go anywhere. It wasn't clear to me what my goal would be at first. Is it to expand my business? Or to do something else? I didn't know. I had no idea. I continued my search by watching YouTube and doing the personal development programs.
One day, I noticed that I had been fascinated by people who spoke about human behaviors, human potential and how to change courses of life. Then I found Larry Winget very intriguing, who was called a pit-bull of personal development(R). He was bold, pushing people to the direction of their full potential. I really liked his teaching and his way of presenting it. At last, I wrote down my goal in April, 2011. "I will become a professional speaker by 2023." It was 12 year plan. This is the goal I have been pursuing since then up until now.
I have set the goal but I didn't know at all how to reach the goal, how to fill the huge gap between where I was and where I wanted to be. One thing for sure was that I needed English skills at the level of professional speaker. This part alone was and is overwhelming to me. But I wanted to make it happen somehow. I was hooked by the idea.
