"The secret of success is having low expectations".
Do you agree?
For me, the joy of living is the hope of getting what I want. So, having low expectations is not my way. Having high expectations IS.
As the video says, our expectations are basis of our actions. So, the first step for success is having high expectations.
So, the question is whether you focus on something you want or something you don't want. It works either way. Obviously, you want to focus on something positive for you. It sounds easy but not always. Most of time, people are thinking about what they don't like. Complaining, blaming, worrying....etc.
The key is to train and tame your mind to consciously direct your attention to what you want. Then, you mind has no space for thinking something negative. You need to handle some negative things in life but you don't have to be attached to those things.
To train your mind, just before going to bed is the best time because we have access directly to our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is the one that thinks negative things without our conscious choice.
