New Thought

The new thought movement has been resonating with me so much for a long time now. It is really a fascinating idea that our thoughts create the reality. Question is "Do you really believe the idea?"

For me, it is not something I believe. If you have a vision that never leaves you, you must have the idea to work anyway. It is not a belief but a demand. You can't live without making it happen.

Where The Power Comes From

Yes, his voice is attractive. Yes, his words are powerful. Yes, his presentation is great.

However, where does the power really come from? His voice, his words, his way of speaking?

I think the power comes from the thing he is referring to. All the other mechanics he is using are just marginal. He is talking the thing people are craving for themselves. That's why his words have power to reach the audience.

Afraid Of Making A Mistake

We all are afraid of making a mistake. To avoid it, we choose something safe, stable, predictable. Nothing wrong with this strategy as far as you take risks from time to time. Otherwise, life gets boring. No excitement and no growth is there.

It's ok to look bad. Not for the sake of looking bad, but, if you want something, you need to take the risk of making a mistake.

"No mistakes in tango."

What Is Possible?

It's easy to fall into a rigid thinking that something cannot be done. The truth is however, we don't know what is capable for us until actually do it.

It is called 'poverty of imagination'. And the story of Helen Keller is a great reminder for what is possible.

There are many things we can learn from the movie but one thing is clear that there should be someone who believes in something.

You Can't Give Away What You Don't Have

Dr. Wayne Dyer has been my teacher since I read his book in my twenties. His books were the trigger for me to take my own path.

He has been sharing the wisdom he gained along the way. He passed away several years ago but for me he is still with me teaching valuable lessons continuously. I really admire him as a teacher, speaker, great human being.

I am very glad to have met him in person. I felt his love at that time when he suddenly walked down to me to take a picture with me. I must looked very confused at that time on Maui island. Actually, I was totally confused then. I didn't know what I was doing, why I was doing it. Now I know why.

Never Believe Such A Prediction

You have ability to choose your beliefs. However, not many do so consciously. Because they don't think they do have the ability to choose.

Our beliefs, stories, assumptions are all self made or someone else's make up. There is no truth about them.

You can reject any belief that doesn't serve you. And you can take in any belief that do serve you.

The Will vs The Will-Not

As Larry points out, success is for anybody who are willing to do whatever it takes.

His claim is extremely simple and I agree with him totally. Then, why aren't there more successful people on this planet?

The biggest roadblock is not knowing what they really want in life. That's why they don't sacrifice anything. That's why they don't fully commit.

Your Success Is Not Accident

It's that simple as Arnold Schwarzenegger says. It's your vision, your goal, something you badly want to be, do or have.

Many people are too busy to take time to ponder. They don't have a long term vision. That's why most people drift along the way. They don't even know where they really want to go. No wonder why they are unhappy.

Do you have a vision for you?

That's What I Want.

If you know what you really want, the life is easy.

Most people don't know what they want. They are too busy to think about it most of the time. They are busy to just survive. Then, the next thing they ask is to raise the level of survival. They want a nicer car, fancy house and so on. Those are NOT what they want. Those are something they think they want.

Ultimately, if you don't pursue what you really want, you are going to die with despair.

The Richness of Human Capacity

7/8/2020

What do we know about human capacity?

Almost none! We don't know our own capacity. So, we try to teach children only what we know. This is the education system we have globally.

We think we are doing something good to our children. That's true for some part. But We might be getting in the way of our children because we don't really know their potential.

So, we educate them as we think good.
